So...I can be somewhat of an Aggressive Driver...just a tinch though. (hee-hee)

Well, actually...I don't think I'd really call it "aggressive"...I just get a little PO'ed when people cut me off, drive slow, drive reckless, etc...

Anyway...when I get all flustered in the car...I can sound like a Sailor. (not in front of Bailee, of course)...I hate that I curse when I'm driving...I hate when I curse at all! So one of my Resolutions this year was to tone it back while driving and try and come up with something else that works almost as good as a dirty Sailor.

I was driving into work today when I noticed myself "hissing" at people from inside my car...hey, it works! I wasn't swearing...I'd just make a claw-like maneuver with my hand and bat it down while "hissing".

I'm a dork...I know it. You can laugh at me too...I already laugh at myself!

Thankful Thursday

This week I am thankful for my will power and determination.

I don't care to elaborate any further on that...at least not at this time.

So, this has been going around on Facebook...I completed it on there...but also decided to post it on my bloggity-blog-blog.

1. I married my bestest friend!

23. I spent 9 months NOT working last year. I loved every minute spent home with Bailee.

24. I love tropical vacations! We are going on another cruise in September! YAY!

1) Daughter: Because mine is just AWESOME!!

2) Driving: Although...not all the time...most times I find it relaxing...it also helps to calm me down.

3) Daisies: Well, the Gerbera Daisey...it's my favorite flower!

4) Daddy: 'Cause he's the bestest in the WHOLE WIDEST WORLD!

5) Delete Key: I'm not perfect...I use it quite alot!

6) Dear Husband: He's mine...all mine...and I plan to keep him FOREVER!!

7) Dessert: Even though I will not be enjoying it for awhile...It's still a fave!

8) Doodle-ing: I love to draw little pictures and doodle all over a piece of paper...it's highly effective form of preventing boredom while in meetings, training...etc

9) Door-mats: We haven't had one for awhile...so Eric bought one this weekend...no more dirty floors! Time to wipe feet before stepping inside!

And...I can't really think of a 10th thing. (I mean c'mon..."door-mats" as my ninth...sheesh!) So, I've decided to end with something I HATE about the letter 'D'.

10) Dieting: I hate it! I hate it! I hate it!!! There...I feel better now...

Girls Night Out

Saturday night I got to have a GNO with my buddy Andrea!!


We went out for Sushi.
Which sadly...wasn't that great of an experience...I mean, we always go to Osaka when we meet up for Sushi...I doubt we'll be going back.

After din-din we went to see: Which was a great chick-flick movie!! However, Andrea and I were crying in it...cause we're babies like that!

Anyway...thanks Andrea!! I love it when we are able to get together for Girls Night!!

Frustration

Has anyone ever tested your limits to the point where you just start crying...without being able to stop?

I hate to admit that I cry easily. It really does not take much AT ALL to get my waterworks going. I cry at commercials, TV shows, News, articles I read about online...I'm a crier!

What I really hate though...is that I cry when I am frustrated.

It's pretty embarrassing.

I had a moment like that today at work. I won't go into detail about it...mostly because I can't...but...I was pushed to my limit. I broke down in front of my whole team...and in front of my manager. Can we say...HUMILIATING?!!??

It was something that I just couldn't help...my nerves were wound so tight that the only release was, embarrassingly enough, tears...

I hate that I cry easy. I. HATE. IT!

I'm just happy that this was pretty much the first time at work...(I was on the verge once and let a few spill back right after I started)...

What can I say? People can just be so cruel...

Be nice people, just be nice....then stupid, little, sensitive beings (like myself) ... won't be humiliated by bawling like a baby at work.

Seriously...just always be kind!

Thankful Thrusday

Time again for a Thankful Thursday post:

The only thing I am going to mention this week is:

I am thankful for a slightly slower week at work this week. Last week was INSANE!! On Thursday I took 89 calls...and then on Friday...I took 94!!! Luckily I haven't broken 60 so far this week...(crap...I hope I didn't just jinx myself)

Thankful Thursday

Wow...I haven't posted a post on Thankful Thursday in quite sometime!!!

At the moment I am thankful for....

1) My Uncle Tony: We had an electrical issue with one of the headlights in Erics car...and the mechanic Eric took it to said it was going to cost us HUNDREDS of dollars to get it fixed...well, I called up my dear uncle, who is also a mechanic, and he was able to fix the problem for a mere $68 bucks!! Thanks Tony!! We sooooooo appreciate it!!!

2) Merrill Lynch/Bank of America: (is it okay to be thankful for a bank that I am not employed by??!!?) My Mom just got a huge promotion!! Yay for Mommy!! When B of A took over Merrill...they were planning on cutting a TON of Merrill's staff...my Mom was pretty worried...today they announced that my Mom is one of the only 15 Regional Client Relationship Managers!!! (they originally had over 30) Wahoo for Mom!!! And a HUGE congrats!!!

3) Overtime: I know I've mentioned how thankful I am for overtime in blogs past...but right now it is AWESOME! I'm tired...I'm a little crankier...but...I'm getting paid more!

4) My Hubby: He's been awesome about having dinner ready every night for me when I get home from my looooong day at work...and he's been good about the grocery shopping....getting Bailee bathed and ready for bed...and he even let me go out and have a Girls Night Out at a hotel with one of my girlfriends. My husband is totally better than yours!!! He's my Mr. Mom and I love him sooooo very much!!

5) Booty Warmers: Nothing like having a toasty bum while driving to and from work on a chilly day! 'Nuf said!

I have oodles and oodles more that I could post about...but seeing I worked for 10 hours today...and haven't spent hardly ANY time with my family...I'm going to end with the booty warmers!

I don't know what's wrong with my kitty! We give her fresh water allllllll the time, with ice cubes even!!
Hmmm...must be something about that toilet water that tickles her fancy...I don't get it...

A LITTLE BIT OF NOTHING

So, again...I haven't been posting much...

I have been SO busy for the past 2 weeks!

I am working 10 hour days...and then coming home to spend a couple hours with Bailee and Eric before I go to bed to begin the cycle all over again at 6am the next day...

However, Eric was such a sweetheart! He knew that I needed a break from my everyday routine...so on Saturday night one of my close girlfriends and I stayed overnight in a hotel. Even though we were still in the same city as my house...it was SO MUCH FUN! We ordered dinner to eat in the room...had some yummy "drinks"...and then watched movies and chatted allllllll night long! There was no sleeping at all! But, it was much needed and SO MUCH FUN!!

Eric had a job interview this week...(fingers crossed)...I hope it works out for him! The only thing that is keeping us a-float is my OT and his UI.

I must say...we have been super awesome in the saving money department though...(our parents would be SO proud!) It's funny...we are making less...because he is not working...but we've been able to save...and it is actually NICE!!!

Bailee is still loving school...so VERY much! She was really excited because while Eric was at his interview on Tuesday...she was able to go to KinderCare and see all her friends and all the teachers that she has been missing.

Because of all this OT...I totally and completely forgot to sign up for Tib's Biggest Loser Competition...BUT...I have been pretty good this week at eating right...I just need to find the time for the exercise...

Anyway...other than being super crazy busy...this year, thus far, is going pretty good.

I love my husband, I love my daughter, I love my job...I love my LIFE!

Too bad this isn't the case anymore...

At work today...around lunch time...one of my co-workers was enjoying this wonderful Pot Roast...made my mouth water and my stomach growl!

I called Eric and told him what I wanted for dinner tonight...

Guess what was ready for dinner when I got home...

A yummy yummy Pot Roast!!

YAY for leftovers! Now I can enjoy it tomorrow as well!

BLANK

I really do not have anything worth-while to post about...but I still felt like posting "something"...

I went back to work today...after pretty much 10 days in a row off...the break was nice...although I was sick for a good part of it...I have to admit though, being back to work was refreshing!!!

Eric still hasn't found a new job...which is really starting to stress me out. BIG TIME! (deep breaths) That's a whole other issue in itself, that I am sure nobody wants me to bore them with.

Bailee started school again on Monday...she was VERY excited! She can't wait for Friday because they get to bring in one of their favorite presents from Christmas for Show and Tell...soo bad her favorite gift is that Barbie house...guess she'll have to figure out which other gift is her second favorite.

On a horrible note...my insomnia has come back full force. The past few nights I have been going to bed only to find myself tossing and turning for HOURS! Last night I went to bed at 8:30...turned my TV off at 9pm...I was still awake at 2:30am. And that's even with taking the 'over-the-counter' sleeping pills. I guess I may have to make a visit to dear old Dr. Smith and ask for some Ambien again.

I am happy because my shows are back on...it has been a horrible month of nothing new to watch...YAY...my DVR is already full of shows that I don't have time for...guess that's what I can do instead of laying in my bed trying to sleep for 6 hours and it not working...catch up on TV!

Blah, Blah, Blah...what else?... Oh, I am going to be trying to work 10 hours a day for the month of January? Am I crazy?!?! You betcha!! But, with Eric still out of work...and with the cruise coming up in September...we could use the extra cash! $$$

Alright...I am done with this boring, meaningless post about pretty much nothing!!

Kissing Barbies and Pet Condos

So, yesterday I decided to totally re-arrange and clean out Bailee's room...it has been a DISASTER area since Christmas.

Anyway...while I was cleaning out her room...Bailee was playing with her Barbies and her new Barbie House...I came around the corner and saw this:

I nearly had a heart-attack!! She's toooo young!! I choked back the giggles...and tears...and asked her:

Me: "Bailee, what are your Barbies doing?"

Bailee: "They are kissing."

Me: "Bailee...it's not appropriate for your Barbies to be kissing in a bed."

Bailee: "But, MOM! They got married first!"

I guess it's ok...as long as they are married! (at least their clothes were on)

Oh, and here's the face she made when I said it was not appropriate.

They just grow up toooooooo fast!!!!

On another note:

I had all of Bailee's things out of her room in the hall while I was re-arranging the furniture...I stacked up her book-shelves...and she made a pet condo...even Tipsee was a resident!!
