My wonderful 24th Birthday...

So, I had the greatest weekend!

On Friday Eric and I went to Park City to spend the weekend for my birthday.

When we got there we went down to the Hotel's Social Club and drank beer and played pool. It was WAY FUN! At about 10ish, my brother Nick and his girl, Heather came up and spent a few hours with us.

After they left we went swimming in the FREEZING pool until about 3am! But it was so much fun!! More fun than I've ever had!!

Saturday...my birthday...seeing we didn't get to bed until well after 4am. We slept in until about 11. Then we got ready, and went shopping at the Tanger Outlet Center.

My cousin Brookie and her hubby Devon came up and joined us for a drink at the Social Club, and then dinner at Squatters. Then we found this 14% beer at a liquor store in PC. But it was NaStY!!! GROSS! I couldn't even get one sip down.

They left and Eric and I went to HarryO's for some dancing for my BDAY.

We got there and it was totally crowded! (seeing it was their Halloween Party and all)...we had a couple drinks and Eric ran into his buddy from High School and they chatted away for a few.

Seeing we are the 'old married couple'...we ended up leaving shortly after midnight. The club was WAY too full of people, (you couldn't even move), and a fight had broken out.

We went back to our room and had some fun of our own and watched some television before drifting off to sleepy-town.

Today we went to Santaquin to pick up Bailee and have a birthday dinner that my step-mom Angie was preparing. (one of my faves...Chicken, Potatoe Casserole, and corn...plus these REALLY yummy rolls...) And Better than Sex cake. (MY ABSOLUTE FAVE CAKE IN THE WORLD!!) They all sang Happy Birthday to me, and then we came home for the first time since Friday.

I had another wonderful birthday spent with my amazing husband.

Getting away from time to time is so good for a marriage. I can't believe how much fun I had just being with Eric. I love him more than words can describe! Sometimes life gets hard, and we get caught up in the day to day bussel. But boy, we totally found and rekindled our love for eachother again this weekend.

I love my man! More now than ever!

What a week....

This week has gone by...way too fast!

On Sunday I got my hair done again. It was already time for a trim, (which I ended up cutting a lot more off too)...and then we added some super cute highlights to it. I absolutely LOVE it!

Monday I was SICK with the damn flu! I hate it, I hate it, I hate it!! I came down with it in the wee hours of Sunday morning. (3:40am to be exact).

Tuesday was back to work day. And what a long day it was.

This week was just a long week! Way too long! But in the same sense, I can't believe October is already almost over! Today is the 20th! Next weekend I will be celebrating my 24th Birthday. And...next Friday...I will HOPEFULLY be completely DONE with tests for quite some time!

This weekend won't be much.

Eric has a lot of studying to do, as do I. So poor Bee will be bored as we cram. lol

Actually, we planned it where he will go to the library for 5 hrs in the morning, and I will go to work and cram for 5-6 hours in the evening.

YEAH, I definately can't wait to be DONE with all of this!

Yep!

MY darn body is SO SORE!

I mean...it literally hurts ALL OVER!!

Places that I don't have fat or muscles...just skin and bone...YEAH...HURTS TOO!!!

But that is a good hurt...right??

Today was frustrating,

I went swimming again...like I planned...

Got in the water and as I was going to put my silly cap on my head...IT BROKE!!!!

(and because I am not the prepared swimmer I once was...I didn't have a back-up)

Which meant I had to swim without one! NOT TOO FUN!

And then there was swim-team practice, swim-lessons, and water-aerobics going on...so the free lanes were down to 2...

They were cramming all of us "free-swimmers" into 2 lanes! IT SUCKED!

But it still was a good workout!

I even treaded water for 10 minutes!!

(YEAH, And I thought today I was sore...lol)

I have found myself...

I feel so REJUVENATED!!

I started up swimming again today...the first time in practically 7 YEARS!!!

Boy am I outta-shape! But it felt so GREAT!

As soon as I hopped in the water with my goggles and cap...ugghhh....I can't explain the adrenaline rush that flowed through my body!!

I have been thinking for years about what is missing from my life...and this is it! I have missed the water! I mean, you aren't supposed to take a fish out of water, and that is how I have been feeling for the past few years...a fish out of water!! LOL

It was a great rush! I am glad to be back at it! Back to exercising, back to ME!

All of those who have known me for -EVER...(back in the high-school days)...know how much swimming is a passion of mine! And I am back at it! It gave me such a sense of relief, such a sense of belonging...I felt SO GOOD when I got done.

ALTHOUGH, I am SUPER-DUPER sore! lol I can't imagine what tomorrow is going to bring with that department! But that's okay...it means I worked my muscles HARD!!

And I can get back to it again tomorrow night! I can HARDLY WAIT!

WAHOO!! GO ME!!!

(now I had better go and shower...I smell like CHLORINE!! ... And I love it!)

That and I need to hit the books before I hit the hay!

Oh...and I ALMOST...forgot....

I am taking my Series 66 on October 27th...

3 WEEKS!!!

I have slacked off...didn't get right too it like I thought I would...but I had a WHOLE LOT going on...so I wasn't really able to focus...but anyway...I am taking it then...

A DAY BEFORE MY B-DAY!!!

Can't Hardly Wait!!

I LOVE the month of October! It is my most favorite time of the YEAR!....And NOT just because my birthday is this month...it is just a beautiful month.

For one...the leaves have turned different colors, and are starting to fall off the trees...(I love it when the wind blows and they are flying through the air) AHHHHH, I love it!

The weather is starting to change...and I LOVE sweater season!! Layering is the way to go!

I also love Halloween! I love it even more now that I have a little one. But I love all it has to do with! I love decorating for it, and I love carving pumpkins...the whole charade!

And then, of course...the topping on the cake is my birthday! Although, it isn't as exciting when you grow up...but it is still special...it is MY day to shine!!

For my birthday this year...Eric and I are going to spend the weekend in Park City...which will be so fun and romantic!!!

ANOTHER THING I AM ECSTATIC FOR IS.......

NEW YORK!!!!!

I get to go there for my first time ever next month! I am going to Princeton for some workshop with my job from a Wednesday to a Friday, and then I have extended my stay thru Sunday and I am going to stay in an apartment in Manhattan!!!! I am excited to sight-see, take pix and all that jazz!! I want to even go to a Broadway play...we'll see if I get to do that...but MAINLY...I just want to wander around and take it ALL in! My cousin Brookie might get to go with me...we are going to try and talk her hubby into it tonight at dinner!!! I hope so! I mean, I will have fun all my my lonesome...but I would have 2X as much fun if she joins me along the way!
