Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that Eric and Bailee were able to come up and spend Christmas with me.

I am thankful that Eric and I can continue our great friendship without things being awkward.

But, I am mostly thankful for the fact that 2009 is:

Bailee and Eric are on their way up to spend it with me.... I'm really excited! We've got a lot of fun things planned for Christmas this year. It'll be one of our best.

I know I rarely post anymore. And I plan to fix that after the holidays are over.

But, I just wanted to take a quick minute and say:

Thankful Thursday

Things that I am thankful for on this Thursday:

1) Booty Warmers: With how cold it has been this past week.... I am so glad that I have seat warmers in my car. Every morning I start my car to warm it up and I turn the seat warmers up to HIGH so that when I sit down... It's not too cold! :)

2) Girlfriends: Last Saturday night I had two of my close friends over for a fun girls night. We hung out, played in the snow, ate pizza, watched movies, and had a sleepover!! It was a lot of fun! I love my girlies!!

3) Hot Chocolate: Like booty warmer.... Hot Chocolate is the best thing to have in the morning on a cold winters day! And since I am not a fan of coffee.... it works perfectly for me!

4) Hulu.com: Thank goodness for HULU! I turned my cable off last September but I have been able to keep up with most of my shows through this wonderful free site. Without it... I would be left behind this season.

5) Bailee: And, as always, I am most thankful for Bailee. She's my everything!!!

All Bailee wants for Christmas is...

...HER TWO FRONT TEETH!!!

That's right... only one week later and she looses her 2nd baby tooth!!!!

She lost this one eating a cookie!!

The day my Goo lost her FIRST tooth!

Late Thanksgiving Eve... While staying at my grandparents... Bailee and I decided to pull out her first tooth....

I tied a piece of dental floss around the tooth and gave it a little tug...

Out popped the tooth!!!

She was soooooo excited!! She had to run upstairs and let my grandparents know that her tooth had finally come out.

We waited a couple nights until we were back at home before we placed the tooth under her pillow for the Tooth Fairy.

Bailee really wanted to keep her tooth to show her dad and grandparents... so she wrote a letter asking the Tooth Fairy if she could keep it.

When she woke up the next morning she was happy to find $5, her tooth, and a note from the Tooth Fairy. All day long that $5 was burning a hole in her little pocket and she kept begging me to take her to Toys R Us. So, I did.....and she bought some Play-dough!!

Thankful Thursday

Right now all I am thankful for is the time that I was able to spend with Bailee last week. We had a LOT of fun and I miss her soooo much!!!

Happy Thanksgiving

THANKFUL THURSDAY...THANKSGIVING EDITION!!

First and foremost... I wanted to wish you all a VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

I am most thankful, as always, to be the mother to Bailee. She is my everything and I love her more than anything in this world!! I am so thankful that she is so smart and healthy. She truly is a fantastic little girl! She is amazing and I am proud to be her mama!!!!!

I am thankful that I have a good job that I enjoy. There aren't that many people that go to work and actually enjoy their job. But, I do.

I am thankful that here in 6 months I am going to be able to further my licenses with my job... That's right!! In May I will start studying for my NASD Series 9 & 10!!! I am crazy and insane... (because they are tough) ...but, I am really excited to better myself!

I am thankful for so many good friends. I have made a ton of new friends since Eric and I split and I am thankful for them all!! Old friends, new friends, work friends....etc...

I am thankful for the close relationship I have with Eric. Even though we are divorcing... we are still able to care about each other and want the best for each other as well. He is a great father to Bailee and she just adores him. I am glad that we are able to maintain the best part of us... Our friendship.

I am also very thankful for Eric's parents. It means a lot to me that they have been there to help with Bailee through these past 6 months. They have done a lot for us over the years and I am glad that they are there for Bailee as well.

I am thankful for my new found happiness. I have already mentioned this before, but it feels so great!!!

I am thankful for my entire family. I may not see nor speak to many of them that often...but, I am grateful for all of them! They helped in making me who I am today.

I am also incredibly thankful that this year is just about over. 2009 has been a really hard year and I am REALLY looking forward to 2010. I'm soooo ready to start over, start fresh...and to work towards making the New Year one of the best ever.

I am soooooooooo thankful for all I have in my life. Even the trials....... Trials are what build us up and make us better.

Thankful Thursday

It's November... The month to give Thanks! Yet, this is my first thankful post this month....

I am thankful for the fact that Eric has finally gotten a job!!! Yes, it's just a part-time job as of right now, but- it HELPS!! His unemployment was also approved, so he will be getting the supplemental income from that as well.

Basically- this means Bailee will be moving home really soon! I am planning on her moving home Christmas!!!! I am soooo excited and thankful to finally be here!! I am soooo happy for her to be moving back home with me!

I am incredibly thankful for my new found happiness. I am not sure where it came from... but I am glad it came!! Happy Happy Happy Joy Joy Joy!!!

I am thankful for my will power and determination. Not just because I have started my diet again... but because I have pretty much quit drinking!! (I am sure that has helped in the happiness factor)

I am thankful for my wonderful friends and my amazingly supportive family!!

It hit me yesterday...

I am happy.

I. Am. HAPPY!!

I'm not sure where it came from... But, I am.

As I was talking to Eric last night, he said he noticed it too. I have been a lot happier these past few weeks.

It feels soooooo good!! I am happy and it's NOT because of someone else. I am happy because I am happy! I made myself happy!!!

I feel content.... I feel ready... I am moving forward in my life and moving on to a life that I want for myself.

Did I mention how good it feels??

Bailee's First Sleepover

Bailee had her first sleepover with her friend Morgan last night.

Unfortunately I was unable to be there for it. (because she is still in St. George) But Eric did a great job in sending me a few pictures! That, and I called a whole bunch to check in and make sure they were having a fun time.

It's not so bad... so what? I'm now a 27 year old... And what a fantastic day!! It's already started out wonderfully!! I woke up to a voicemail from my Mom ... (she stayed up late so that it'd be midnight my time...) Bailee called me on my way into work...
