And here we are...another week has gone by...crazy how fast the days go by....SCARY!!1) Another Day- Thinking about how time seems to just fly right by....every day I wake up and am able to see my husband and beautiful daughter...makes me so happy! I am so THANKFUL to be alive!
2) Doug and Gloria- Yes, I am so very THANKFUL for my in-laws. I absolutely love them! They have done so much for us over the years....and all the help they've given us over the past few months has made me so grateful! I will be indebted to them forever! They are both such wonderful and loving people. I hope to one day be lucky enough to live life as they do.
...(I have a horrible migraine...so it hurts to think, I'll lay down and rest, then hopefully I'll feel better to update.)...

3) Swimming Lessons- Bailee has been taking swimming lessons this summer. I am so proud of my little Gooey!! All that really know me...know how huge of a swimmer I was. And how much swimming was a part of my life. My momma and my gramma used to always joke that they had to have my gils removed after birth. LOL I am THANKFUL for her learning to swim!!! Take a look at this cutie-patootie picture of her!
4) Edamame- Nope...I am NOT kidding!! It is pretty much all I eat. These delicious little soy beans....I can't get enough of them...just ask Eric. BTW- he hates them...but Bailee LOVES them as much as I do!! They are delicious...and they are all I crave each and every day. Eric jokes that I am going to turn green from all the Edamame I eat....which is ALOT!! (maybe he should worry...lol)...I am THANKFUL for all this Edamame for me to devour!!!! YUM, delicious!!!
5) Close Friends- I don't really get to spend much time with my close friends...which is normal, because I have a family...but I have to state that I am THANKFUL for the time that I get to spend with my closest friends. I love them so much!!! They are a small part of what makes me ME!!

It totally snuck up and bit me in the bottom...but...my Gooey is now officially FIVE years old!!
She had a WONDERFUL birthday...despite us not living in a place where I could host a party.
She still got to spend 4 days celebrating!!
On Friday (her real birthday)...She woke up and opened all her presents. Eric had to work...but I got up and took her to breakfast so she could indulge in a huge stack of delicious pancakes!! After that we went shopping for a few more things for her, then we met up with my friend Lizzy and her (just barely) five year old daughter, Brylie. We took the girls to the Gateway to play in the fountain for a couple hours. They had a BLAST! After the dancing in the fountain Bailee wanted Ice Cream from Arctic Circle, so I took the girlies there to have lunch and ice cream and to play. Bailee had such a fun-filled day...she even got to have her FIRST sleep-over!! (with the mommies too) Lizzy and I went back to her parents house with the girls and watched Nemo and went to bed...Bee was EXHAUSTED!!
Saturday...was pretty low key. Bailee was pretty tired from not really sleeping at the sleep-over...(why do they call them that anyway????)...so we took a nap with Daddy for a couple hours. Then we just hung out in our 'awesome' hotel and played the new games she got for her birthday....Daddy won on Mouse Trap...but Bee won at Operation...(with Mommy's' help..of course)
Sunday...Gooey and I slept in, and then watched movies in bed 'til Daddy got home from work...then we headed up to Snowbird to ride the Alpine Slide...and have dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Delicious!!!
Monday...It is LAGOON DAY!!! The day Bee has been waiting for in like a bagillion years!!! (hee-hee) We met up with my Dad, my step-mom Angie, and my brothers Tristan, Kayden, and Micah to play all day at Lagoon! (or as Bailee calls it...The Goon)
Anyway...sadly...I don't have very many pictures of our fun-filled, birthday weekend. Because my USB cable is packed up in storage.
But, I have got a few that my friend took, and a few from my cell phone...so...enjoy!!

I can't believe it has already been one week...
1) My Mommy- Today is her birthday! And just like I mentioned last week...I am so thankful for how close we have become! Happy 47th Birthday Mom!
2) Bailee Nicole- Tomorrow is HER birthday! I am so incredibly thankful to be her Mommy!! She is the greatest gift I have EVER received in life. So full of energy and such a happy child! And with all the problems in trying to conceive another child...it just makes me that much more thankful to have her in my life!
3) PTO!!!- And just so you know...PTO means (paid-time-off)...and I am thankful I work somewhere that offers it out!! I am taking 2 days off...tomorrow and Saturday...and then I already have Sunday and Monday off...so...it's a nice 4 day weekend! WAHOO!
4) My best friend Kara- (who I have been neglecting lately)...we became best friends back in 2000...and under some really 'weird' circumstances...I might add. Either way...I am so thankful to have her in my life! Even though she became a traitor to Utah by moving to Missouri! I love you best friend!
5) My Will Power- Seeing I just started my diet this past Monday...I am so thankful that I have will power! It has been hard...but I have been soooo good! Even today when I saw this huge, deliciously, moist brownie with powdered sugar sprinkled on top of it...that was hard...but...I didn't break!!
6) Holidays!!- Seeing today is Pioneer Day...I just thought I'd through that out there.... Bailee was staying with my dad...and Eric had to work on the 4th of July...so I didn't celebrate it at all...tonight we are going to go and watch fireworks and have a really fun time!! I am thankful to live in a country where we can celebrate all types of freedom!!!
7) Compatible Co-workers- I love the fact that everyone in my group at work seems to get along and fit together nice! It make working everyday THAT much better! I am thankful to have such great work "friends"!
8) BIG BROTHER!!- I am so enjoying this new season!! So much drama ALREADY! Crazy!! I still love Jerry...but, I am not sure if he is my favorite anymore...either way...I am thankful that my summer show is on!!
9) Eric John...again- I can't NOT mention my fabulous husband. Because...let's face it...he has to put up with me on a DAILY basis!!! (hee-hee) Anyway, like last time...I am more than thankful to have him in my life...I have been blessed with him...and I am very lucky to have such a wonderful man loving me!
10) My little brothers- I don't know how many of you know this...but....I am a big sister to SEVEN little brothers! And I love each and every one of them so very much!! I am thankful to have been blessed with so many little brothers! Nick-23, Jordan-21, Riley-19, Tristan-12, Kayden-10, Alex-10, and Micah-8.
So, I went shopping today...and then spent some time wrapping her birthday presents. I am excited for her!! (although, VERY, saddened for me!)
Well, we have a 'Fun-Filled' weekend planned....now all I have to get through is tomorrow!!! So I can be off Fri-Mon...YIPPEE!!

Yay! We have officially kicked of our "diet"... It actually started yesterday...and so far- I am pretty proud of ourselves...they always say the first week is absolutely the hardest!!
We both ate right yesterday....YIPPEE!!
Today was 'exercise' day. And we both ATE right, plus added that extra effort by going to the Recreation Center and 'working-out'....
Here is what 'working-out' consists of for Eric....
When we got to the Rec Center I spent about an hour watching Bailee swim...and taking her down the 'big' slide.
Once Eric finished his work out...it was my turn...and here is what my work-out consists of...
Swimming laps!!!! It is the best feeling in the world!! Gives me such a 'rush' of adrenaline! I could have swam for HOURS!! I am such the fishy!!
Either way...GO US!!!!!!!
Children growing up...why, why, WHY....Why are they allowed to grow up.... I do NOT remember getting a manual with my Bailee that said she was able to grow up. So, that means it is NOT allowed...right??
No children are allowed to turn 5. NONE! Right? Do I hear any agreements?????
I need to know the LAW on children...because mine thinks she is turning 5 on Friday. And I simply continue to tell her it is not possible.
I am just kind of wanting to B & M ... But...I probably shouldn't...

i have noticed that practically everyone has blog 'friends' ... except for miss jami.
i'm really only sad because i have had this blog since early december...and still have had barely 115 views. that is horrible!
guess i'm not popular!
oh-well...popularity sucks anyway. Right?!?!
The diet!
Eric and I have decided to go on a diet together...and we are both actually pretty excited to do it!! It starts tomorrow...and I am glad that we are doing one together...I've tried dieting...many, many, many times...and it never works...but now that Eric is going to do it with me...I actually feel like I will finally have results!!
I won't lie, I have let myself go...and it is pretty gross...we told ourselves this time last year that we were going to lose weight together...and what happened?? We got fatter!!!
It's been gross...I hate being a yo-yo'er...I hope to finally fix that. Because...I was so skinny after I had Bailee...but after that...I started gaining...and it wouldn't stop...I wasn't eating any differently...BUT...I wasn't working out like I used to.
(Garfield sure says it best...right???) It wasn't because I stopped swimming...it was because I kept learning Way TOO much!!!! (hee-hee) I'll just keep telling myself that...

Either way...I'm excited...and Eric is excited as well...we are both very ready to shed the gross people that have taken over our bodies!!!!!!
We are going to enjoy healthy foods everyday...with a day of cheating (if needed-on Saturday)...and we are going to work out 3-4 times a week at the Recreation center.
Well...wish us luck!! We're more than ready to start feeling like "us" again!!!
